Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to explore Ẹ̀rùòbodò. This website is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a “Skip to content” link.
- Pages use clear headings, landmarks and labelled navigation so they work with screen readers.
- Text and controls are designed to meet WCAG AA colour-contrast requirements on the dark theme.
- Animation is reduced or removed when your device is set to “reduce motion”.
- Forms have visible labels, explain what is required, and announce errors next to the field they relate to.
- Yoruba names and words are marked up so assistive technology can recognise the language.
- Pages work on phones, tablets and desktops, and when text is enlarged.
Known limitations
Some imagery and video are still placeholders. Captions and text alternatives will be added as final media is published.
