This draft describes what the website currently does. The legal team must confirm the controller details, lawful bases, retention periods and applicable law before publication.
Who we are
[Legal entity name, registered address and company number of the Ẹ̀rùòbodò rights holder]
For any privacy question or request, email hello@eruobodo.tv.
What we collect
We only collect the information you choose to send us through the forms on this website:
- Casting interest: name, email, phone (optional), state or country, tribe preference (optional), your answer to “Why you?”, a social or video link (optional) and confirmation that you are 18 or older.
- Community sign-up: first name (optional) and email.
- Creator enquiries: name, email, platform, handle or channel link, audience size (optional), interests and message.
- Partnership deck requests: name, company, role, work email, country, opportunity of interest and message.
- Investor memo requests: name, organisation, email, country, investor type, message and confirmation of investor status.
- Contact messages: name, email, topic and message.
Every form also records your consent to this policy and the date of your submission.
How we use it
We use your information only to respond to you and to manage the request you made — for example, to contact you about casting, send the partnership deck or investor memo, or reply to your message. Community sign-ups are used to send you news about Ẹ̀rùòbodò.
[Legal to confirm the lawful basis for each purpose]
Where it is stored and who sees it
Submissions are stored on our website’s secure database as private records that only authorised administrators can access, and a copy is emailed to the relevant team inbox (casting, partnerships, investors, media, creators or general enquiries).
[Hosting provider, email provider and any CRM or newsletter service, and where they are located]
Spam protection
To stop automated spam, the forms limit how many submissions can be made in a short period. To do this we keep a one-way, scrambled version of your IP address for ten minutes. It is not stored with your submission and cannot be used to identify you.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Interactions such as button clicks are counted anonymously in the page and contain no personal information. WordPress sets technical cookies only for logged-in administrators.
The “Choose Your Tribe” test runs entirely in your browser — your answers are not stored or sent to us.
[Update this section if analytics, social embeds or a newsletter provider are added]
How long we keep it
[Retention period for each type of enquiry]
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you have sent us, or withdraw your consent to hearing from us, by emailing hello@eruobodo.tv.
[Applicable data-protection law (for example the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and, where relevant, UK/EU GDPR), the relevant supervisory authority and how to complain to it]
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
