For viewers
What is Ẹ̀rùòbodò?
Ẹ̀rùòbodò is a digital-first cultural reality competition. Forty-two contestants from the Southwest and other Yoruba-speaking states compete for 21 days in challenges drawn from Yoruba and wider African heritage. Most reality shows ask who can win. Ẹ̀rùòbodò asks who will not fold.
What does the name mean?
Ẹ̀rùòbodò is read as “the river fears no one”. The name promises courage, rivalry and people who will not fold. Like a river, the competition keeps moving, and in the end the current decides the winner.
When is the show on?
Season One runs for 21 days. The Virtual Phase runs online from Monday 23 November to Thursday 3 December 2026. The Physical Phase runs from Friday 4 to Sunday 13 December 2026. The phase dates are indicative. “The River” Grand Finale is on Sunday 13 December 2026.
Where can I watch?
Full episodes are on YouTube at @EruobodoTV. Clips, voting posts and behind-the-scenes content are on TikTok, Instagram, X and Facebook at @eruobodotv.
How does the competition work?
In the 11-day Virtual Phase, all 42 contestants compete online and the public votes. Twelve finalists go to Lagos (Badagry) for the Physical Phase: eight tests, each with one stake and one way out. The last three face “The River”, and the champion is crowned on the Ẹ̀rùòbodò stool.
How do I vote, and does it cost anything?
Voting is free. You can vote during the Virtual Phase, at “The Compound Decides” and at “The River” Grand Finale. You must be 18 or over to vote. Full instructions will be on the Vote & Predict page before voting opens.
Vote & PredictCan I bet on the outcome?
No. Ẹ̀rùòbodò predictions are free and just for fun. Nothing is staked, and there are no prizes unless we announce one separately with its own rules.
What does the winner get?
The champion is crowned on the Ẹ̀rùòbodò stool, a cash seed and a year of community visibility. The cash amount is to be announced before the season begins.
What are the five emblems?
Staff (leadership), Token (value and opportunity), Crossroad (decisions), Duel (competitive courage) and Stool (endurance and judgment). They are original creative symbols inspired by cultural and philosophical themes, and the Stool is also the prize.
Can I attend in Badagry?
The Badagry Cultural Experience is a public activation alongside the Physical Phase. It includes traditional games, storytelling, drumming and dance, crafts and cultural puzzles. We will announce details on our socials and here.
