The World of Ẹ̀rùòbodò

Lagos (Badagry)

The Physical Phase and “The River” Grand Finale take place in Badagry, Lagos State. The venue will be announced.

The Badagry Cultural Experience

Alongside the Physical Phase, the Badagry Cultural Experience opens to the public. It brings traditional games demonstrations, storytelling, drumming and dance, craft and costume displays, interactive cultural puzzles and heritage interpretation, delivered with local custodians and qualified cultural advisers.

Lagos, five divisions

Short videos introduce Badagry’s heritage and stories from Lagos’s five divisions: Ikeja, Badagry, Ikorodu, Lagos Island and Epe.

Respect for the culture

Badagry cultural custodians, heritage institutions and qualified cultural advisers are consulted before we film or use protected cultural material. Brands are never attached to protected cultural material without the custodians’ consent.
