1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of eruobodo.tv and its pages, forms and features (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Who we are
The Site is operated by Naija’s Dream Ltd, the producer of the Ẹ̀rùòbodò reality show (“we”, “us”, “our”). Our registered contact email is naijadream@gmail.com. General enquiries go to hello@eruobodo.tv.
3. Eligibility
Anyone may browse the Site. To submit a form, apply to take part, vote or enter any activity on the Site, you must be at least 18 years old. Casting has its own additional eligibility rules, set out on the Join the Journey page and in the Contestant Rules. By using these features, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
4. Using the Site
You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- break any law, or use the Site to harass, threaten, defame or impersonate anyone;
- interfere with the Site’s security or operation, or try to gain unauthorised access to it;
- use bots, scripts or other automated means to vote, submit forms or collect data from the Site;
- upload viruses or other harmful code;
- copy, frame or republish the Site’s content except as these Terms allow.
We may suspend or restrict access to the Site, or any part of it, at any time.
5. Accounts and forms
If you create an account or fill in a form, you must give accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity under your account. We may close accounts or reject submissions that break these Terms.
6. User submissions and casting applications
When you send us anything through the Site, such as a casting application, photo, video, comment or message, you confirm that it is yours to send and that it does not break anyone’s rights or any law.
Casting applications. Applying does not guarantee selection or any reply. Selection is at our sole discretion and depends on the Contestant Rules, background and medical checks, and a signed contestant agreement. By applying, you agree that we may contact you about your application by email, phone or messaging app. We will only contact you from an @eruobodo.tv address or our official phone number, and we will never ask you to pay to be selected.
Licence. You keep ownership of what you submit. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store and review it for running the Site and the casting process. Any use of your submission on screen or in publicity needs your separate written consent, normally in a release or contestant agreement.
7. Audience voting and predictions
Voting and predictions on Ẹ̀rùòbodò are free. You do not pay, stake or wager anything to take part. There are no prizes for voting or predicting unless we announce a prize separately, with its own published rules. Votes made using bots, scripts, bulk or fake accounts, or bought or traded votes, may be removed. We may set vote limits, pause voting or void results affected by technical failure or abuse. Our decisions on voting, results and eliminations are final. Voting rules for each phase will be published on the Vote & Predict page.
8. Intellectual property
The Ẹ̀rùòbodò name, the logo, the five emblems, the test names, episodes, images, text, design and other content on the Site belong to us or our licensors, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may share links to the Site and use our official social posts with their built-in sharing tools. Otherwise, you may not copy, adapt, sell or use our name, logo or content, including for merchandise, events or fundraising, without our written permission. Cultural material shown on the Site is used with respect, and with permission where needed. Rights in it may belong to its custodians.
9. Third-party links and partners
The Site may link to third-party sites and platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X and Facebook, and to our partners’ websites. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms. A partner’s appearance on the Site does not mean that we endorse every product or statement of that partner, or that the partner endorses the Site. We name partners and official bodies only after a written agreement.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. By using the Site, you acknowledge that your personal data will be handled as the Privacy Policy describes.
11. Changes to the show
Ẹ̀rùòbodò is a live production. Dates, phases, tests, locations, venues, formats, voting arrangements and prizes may change, be postponed or be cancelled. Unless we state otherwise, dates on the Site are indicative. We will post significant changes on the Site and our official social accounts. We are not liable for costs you incur in reliance on published dates or locations, such as travel.
12. Disclaimers
We provide the Site “as is” and “as available”. We try to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or free from viruses. Content on the Site is for general information and entertainment only.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or opportunity, arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Nigerian law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site, including content you submit.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction over any dispute about these Terms or the Site. Before going to court, please contact us so that we can try to resolve the matter informally.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when they last changed. If you keep using the Site after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
17. General
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in force. If we do not enforce a right, we have not waived it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any rules for a specific activity, form the whole agreement between you and us about the Site.
